Located in a 17-story building that has been completely renovated to house it, Sesc Avenida Paulista is the new attraction in the cultural corridor of the most important avenue in São Paulo. Close to Itaú Cultural and opposite the Instituto Moreira Salles, also recently opened, the institution's new unit is willing to focus on art, body and technology.

Despite the triad that supports the idea of unity, it provides activities in several areas. It also has spaces for dentistry and a library. Some of the spaces are also multipurpose, which includes the plaza on the ground floor. In addition, Leôncio de Carvalho Street, next to Sesc, will soon be closed to cars and transformed into a cultural boulevard, which will connect the unit with Itaú Cultural.

In the video, the programming coordinator of Sesc Avenida Paulista, Adriana de Souza, told a little about the concept of the unit and about the exhibition that opened the gallery space, by video art pioneer Bill Viola.
