Podcast Encarnada Poética

Encarnada Poética was born from the follow-up to the exhibition Encarnado, which opened in August 2023 at the gallery of the Centro Cultural do Cariri Sérvulo Esmeraldo. Produced during the assembly of the exhibition of one of the most important contemporary sculptors in Brazil, Efrain Almeida, the podcast becomes a testament to the strength and beauty of his work, gaining even more meaning after his departure in September 2024.

Podcast Presence Stage: dialogues about theater and training

The Podcast Presença Cênica was born as an offshoot of the 2023st Presença Cênica Training Cycle, held in XNUMX at the Cariri Sérvulo Esmeraldo Cultural Center. The Cycle has established itself as a space for enjoyment and reflection for artists, researchers, students and cultural workers in the field of performing arts, promoting an environment of exchange and learning. With a focus on the construction of the Political Pedagogical Plan of the equipment's Teatro Escola, the cycle brought debates on scenic practice and its role in the training of artists.

“Quilombola Mixture: Food, Identity and Culture in Ceará” is the result of research into the state’s quilombola food culture, conducted by Mercado AlimentaCE. The first episode goes to Quilombo Alto Alegre, where we meet Maria Dasdores, who finds in Majerioba the freedom to honor her grandmother Maria Cabocla.

The dialogues are mediated by Pâmela Queiroz, audio journalist for Rádio Unaé and Xico Sá, guest writer and journalist. Immerse yourself in the knowledge, memories and sounds of the masters Cacique Pequena, Dona Branca, Mãe Zimá and the masters Antônio Luiz, Macaúba, Chico Ceará, Dodô, Joãozinho, Joaquim Roseno and Aécio de Zaira.

Working on information and training, Rádio Unaé's structure seeks to serve the 29 municipalities of Cariri, Ceará, by broadcasting content that strengthens the culture, ancestry, nature and memory of Ceará, strengthening partnerships with media outlets, especially community and university radio stations in the region. It operates in an intersectoral, interdisciplinary and transversal manner, articulating policies that promote the exercise of cultural and communication rights from a citizen perspective. Named Unaé, which in the language of the Kariri people means to dream, the radio station seeks to understand how dreams encompass the rhythms and sounds of this territory that ranges from repente to slam, from zabumba to electronic beats. Just as in each language and field of artistic and cultural work, in its social, economic and political dimensions.
