Definitely inaugurated last month in the city of Itu, in the interior of São Paulo, Fábrica de Arte Marcos Amaro (FAMA) is an important space for the development of art in the country.

For the inauguration of Sala Almeida Júnior, in FAMA, the exhibition 'The three-dimensional in the Marcos Amaro collection: front, back, top, bottom, sides. Volume, shape and color'. Conceived as a permanent exhibition, it is curated by Ricardo Resende and brings together works by some of the most important national artists, such as Adriana Varejão, Tunga, Leda Catunda and Nelson Leirner.

In addition to the works scattered around the space's beds, artist Edith Derdyk, winner of the first Occupancy Notice, has an exhibition at Sala Rolim Amaro, start. In the project, the artist shows the results of investigations into the history of her ancestors who suffered in the holocaust.

Rooms for residences, workshops, workshops and other actions are also present in the place, showing its multidisciplinary character. FAMA enters the cultural center of the state of São Paulo and will already integrate the 25th edition of the Festival of Arts of Itu.
