DOne of the most important art fairs in the world, which take place annually in London in the month of October, have just announced that they will not hold their 2020 editions. The events, which would take place simultaneously in Regent's Park, will have their next in-person edition only in 2021.

At the same time, without giving too many details, the Frieze announced that it will also hold its next online edition of the Frieze Viewing Room in October, “celebrating Frieze Week around London” – the week in which the city’s galleries and cultural institutions traditionally prepare to welcome more visitors and collectors.

The first online edition to which the text refers was Frieze New York, which took place virtually in April, replacing the face-to-face fair, also due to the new coronavirus pandemic. Read here report published in issue #51 of arte!brasileiros about virtual fairs and the art market.

This year's New York digital edition brought together 200 galleries from different countries. The 2019 London Frieze face-to-face brought together around 160 homes, including some of the largest in the world.
