Opens this Saturday, November 25th, at 11am, a retrospective show of Jarbas Lopes na Pinacoteca of the State of São Paulo. Curated by Renato Menezes, Eixos brings together historic, unpublished works and an installation created especially for the occasion. The set of works — which is divided between the 4th floor of the Pina Estação building and the museum's parking lot — celebrates the body, the street and nature.

“Jarbas Lopes is an unavoidable figure among artists of his generation. Few can develop thoughts as sinuous and abstract as him. Added to this exceptional capacity is his pioneering spirit in reflections between art and ecology, sustainability and social well-being. The exhibition presents all of this and invites all visitors to find new axes, new forms of balance with the environment and the community”, says the curator.
