The MAC USP (Museum of Contemporary Art of USP) holds an important collection of 561 drawings by Emiliano Di Cavalcanti (1897-1976). Collected by the artist himself, they encompass his production from 1920 onwards.

The exhibition Di Cavalcanti: activist, bohemian, BrazilianThe exhibition, which the Museum will present starting November 8th, features 115 drawings from this collection.
The curatorship of Helouise Costa e Marcelo Bortoloti He notes that, although best known as a painter, "Di Cavalcanti began his artistic journey through drawing, making it a space for thematic and stylistic freedom, dialogue with other artists, and rich experimentation."
In an audiovisual projection, all 561 drawings will be presented to the public. In addition to drawings belonging to the MAC USP, works from the Institute of Brazilian Studies (IEB USP), the Museum of Brazilian Art (FAAP), the Mário de Andrade Library, the Pinacoteca of São Paulo, and private collections will also be presented.
