Sample Space and place, the DAN Gallery InteriorThe exhibition brings together 75 works and proposes an interpretation of how space transforms into place when it passes through the body and memory, curated by Fabio Magalhaes and exhibition design of Fernando Poles ArchitectsThe chair, present in various works, guides this investigation: an everyday object, a human measure, a resting point, a mark of intimacy, and also an opening to a broader dimension, linked to time and space.
Starting from this central theme, Fábio Magalhães brings together works by Adolfo Estrada, Almir Mavignier, Dionísio Del Santo, Ferreira Gullar, Gonçalo Ivo, José Roberto Aguilar, José Spaniol, Sergio Fingermann, and Valentino Fialdini. The exhibition articulates paintings, objects, geometric and abstract works around a central question: how can a private situation contain an idea of the world?
