Designed specifically for the MIS space, the exhibition brings together 21 works including photographs, collages, video projections and spatial interventions. Result of an investigation initiated in 2022, “Floor of Stories"This project was born from the artist's first trip to the Pernambuco hinterland, the region of origin of her paternal family. From this encounter with the territory, Ana Leal developed research on memory, landscape, and ancestry that expands the photographic language through collage, video, Renaissance lace, clay, and family archives."
