O Immigration Museum inaugurates the temporary exhibition "This is how I embroidered my dreams: Margarida L. Kanciukaitis Pandolfo", which is part of the commemorative program for the centenary of Lithuanian immigration to Brazil and the 7th edition of the Labas Festival, held by the Consulate General of the Republic of Lithuania in São Paulo and dedicated to promoting Lithuanian culture.

The exhibition proposes reflections on the dreams that accompany migratory experiences and on the cultural legacies transmitted between generations, establishing dialogues between the artist's history and the multiple origins that make up the formation of Brazilian society.
Born in São Paulo, Margarida developed her artistic practice through a combination of her training in art education and the knowledge she acquired in her family environment. Her work reveals influences linked to her Lithuanian origins, family memories, and the Brazilian context in which she lived, revealing a journey marked by affection, creativity, and the transmission of knowledge.
By bringing together memories, creative processes, and diverse cultural references, "This is how I embroidered my dreams" invites the public to reflect on the relationships between art, identity, and migration, highlighting how individual stories can dialogue with collective experiences of displacement, belonging, and the construction of new paths.
