A Anita Schwartz Art Gallery presents the 6rd edition of GAS ProjectThis initiative reaffirms its commitment to the renewal of the Brazilian art scene and listening to new voices. The gallery is inaugurating "Introducing," an exhibition resulting from the project, which will occupy its entire exhibition space. From 460 applications received nationwide through an open call, 30 artists were selected to form a collective exhibition structured around six conceptual themes.
Curated by Cecília Fortes, the exhibition is structured around conceptual affinities, creating connections and tensions between works that explore diverse materials, poetic experiments, and urgent issues of our time. Although grouped by thematic axis, some works appear physically distanced due to exhibition design decisions that preserve the spatial reading of the show.
The 2025/2026 edition was aimed at artists and collectives with up to 15 years of experience, residing in Brazil and with prior participation in at least one exhibition — solo or group, institutional or commercial. Proposals were evaluated by a committee composed of Anita Schwartz, the artist Bruno Lyfe (selected in the 2024 edition), the gallery's artistic consultant, Cecília Fortes, and the visual artist and professor Cristina Salgado.
