On March 1st, at 17pm, Ailton Krenak and the five invited indigenous leaders from the Amazon will give a talk at CCBB RJ.

“Nagakura-san is a samurai. His sword is a camera that he wields with the confidence of someone who has been through refugee camps and been in the center of war zones, in places like South Africa, Palestine, El Salvador and Afghanistan. After this dive into global hell, when he felt the madness of human beings up close, the camera samurai discovered the Amazon rainforest and its native peoples”, wrote Ailton Krenak, curator of the exhibition, in the text that accompanies the exhibition.

The exhibition is sponsored by Banco do Brasil, through the Federal Culture Incentive Law. The show goes to CCBBs Brasília and Belo Horizonte after a season in Rio de Janeiro
