The Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo (Pina) is celebrating 120 years of a trajectory marked by transformation. Founded in the late XNUMXth century, with an unfinished architectural design by Ramos de Azevedo, it was born with the mission of preserving and studying Brazilian art. Over the decades, the museum expanded its collection, incorporated modernism and began to engage with contemporary art, without breaking with its roots. What began as a classical space is now a dynamic, hybrid cultural center in constant reinvention.
