Crossing a threshold is the first gesture required by the 16th Curitiba Biennial. In the eye of the Oscar Niemeyer Museum (MON), the installation by Japanese artist Chiharu Shiota envelops the visitor in a dense web of red threads, transforming the space into a physical experience of passage. More than presenting the concept of the exhibition, the work synthesizes its principle: borders cease to separate and become places of encounter, tension, and transformation.
