The presence of seven international professionals are highlighted in the schedule of the 13th edition of SP-Arte/Foto, the São Paulo Photography Fair, which takes place between the 21st and 25th of August. Among the specialists, six are women and curators of important contemporary art institutions in the world.

Our Talks, Margot Norton (New Museum, USA), Barbara Tannenbaum (Cleveland Museum, USA) and Julieta González (Jumex, Mexico), speaking respectively in panels about “impact of digital contemporaneity on images”, “the integration of photography into the same market of paintings and sculptures changed the perception of the dual nature of the photo as object and image” and “how contemporary artists use photography to build their works”.

The fair also invited Tanya Barson (MACBA, Spain), Sophie Hackett (Art Gallery of Ontario, Canada), Elizabeth Cronin (New York Public Library, USA) and Simon Baker (Maison Européenne de la Photographie, France) to participate in a “professional immersion” during the fair, promoting meetings with artists, visits to institutions and galleries, among others.
