The exposure “Talk Talk Talks”, on display at Museum of Portuguese Language until September 14, 09, helps us understand the dimension of the act of speaking. In addition to demonstrating how speech works within the human body, the exhibition presents Brazilians' relationship with the Portuguese language and celebrates the accents that make up our language.

"Brazilian Portuguese is many Portuguese, many dialects, and many ways of expressing. And these ways of expressing themselves carry a weight. Each accent carries a weight. Is there a neutral accent? And are all the others less valuable?" asks Daniela Thomas, a set designer and filmmaker who co-curates the exhibition with writer and linguist Caetano W. Galindo.
