"Surrealism: art beyond reason" is the inaugural exhibition at the gallery's new headquarters" pinakotheke, in São Paulo. The exhibition brings together artists from different periods to consider how dreams, the absurd, the unconscious, and storytelling have permeated art from the 20th century to the present day.
The exhibition includes key figures in European modern art, but also shifts the focus to Latin American and Caribbean productions.
