Thousand Degrees, the 38th Panorama of Brazilian Art Museum of Modern Art of São Paulo, is an exhibition that, as the title promises, brings heat, but not only from the fires – yes, they are there too, but especially from the streets. Carnival, indigenous rituals, urban movements, mystical exercises, cultural practices that generally diverge from hegemonic standards, some created by artists, others not, bring an above-average energy to the city's exhibition circuit.
