Not every traveler walks the roads – from Humanity as practice, 36th Bienal de São Paulo, which opened to the public on September 6th, has serious communication problems. It's very difficult to identify the 125 artists spread across the pavilion's 30 square meters, which creates considerable discomfort. This is partly due to a conceptual decision. Bonaventure Soh Bejeng Ndikung, the exhibition's general curator, explained in a press conference that the intention of not providing information near the works was to allow visitors to have a direct experience, without the need for explanations.
